HACKberry is a 3D-printable open-sourced bionic arm. The data of such hand is made available online at github for free in May 2015. Since then, people around the world have been developing HACKberry as a prosthesis and also as a STEM educational material.
In this post, I would like to explain why it is important to disclose these data as open-source.
